This workshop focuses on making a project while learning to use a sewing machine. It's perfect for beginners who want to get to grips with the main funstions of as sewing machine or need a quick refresher, and would like to take home a finished project. It’s also a great carry-on class from the ‘Learn to use a sewing machine’ workshop.
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Measure and cut a simple pattern
Follow pattern making-up instructions
Match pattern markings
Stitch and finish straights seams
Make a patch pocket
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring 1/2 metre of medium weight cotton fabric, preferably pre-washed.
Matching sewing thread.
