DETAILS:
This workshop focuses on making a project while learning to use a sewing machine. It's perfect for beginners who want to get to grips with the main functions of a sewing machine or need a quick refresher, and would like to take home a finished project. It’s also a great carry-on class from the ‘Learn to use a sewing machine’ workshop.
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Measure and cut a simple pattern
Follow pattern making-up instructions
Match pattern markings
Stitch and finish straights seams
Make a patch pocket
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring 1/2 metre of medium weight cotton fabric, preferably pre-washed.
Matching sewing thread.
The hire of a sewing machine is included in the price of the workshop. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine on the day if you would prefer to use it during the class but please make sure that it is in good working order as there will be no time to troubleshoot a poor functioning machine.
REFUND POLICY
A refund can only be given with 14 days prior notice of the workshop date to allow time to re-advertise the place.
