Bookings

Please check your diary carefully before booking a place on a workshop or course, as both the workshops and courses are non refundable.

 

If you are unable to attend your booked workshop for whatever reason and you inform a minimum of 14 days prior to the start date you will have the option to transfer to another available date. Alternatively you can pass your place on to another individual as long as you let us know in advance who will be attending, along with their contact details.

 

Sewing courses:

 

Sewing courses take place over a number of sessions. If you miss a session it will not be possible to make up that session’s content at the subsequent course session. If you need further tuition to complete your sewing project a one-to-one class can be booked to cover the missed session’s content.

 

Cancellations

 

If for any reason, and in the unlikely event that ClothCuts has to cancel a workshop or course, you will be offered a full refund of the cost of the workshop or class that you have booked or alternatively you can opt to transfer to another available date.

Privacy policy

Privacy Policy

Cloth Cuts respects customers’ need for security and privacy. To operate as an online service provider, we collect and hold lists of customers and contacts. This policy sets out our responsibilities and your rights as a consumer in respect of the data we hold. Any data we hold about you is held securely, and we respect your right to rectification or erasure of your data.

 

Security:

 

Cloth Cuts website may contain links to other sites of interest. We have no control over other sites so when you leave our site to visit 'linked' sites we will no longer be responsible for the privacy and security of any information you provide to them. Therefore other sites are not governed by this privacy statement. We advise that you check the privacy policy of any other sites you visit.

 

Our web site operates on a secure server, provided by the hosting platform for our site. You can check that it is secure by noting the “s” in the URL in your browser and the padlock icon. 

 

Your payment is transacted by secure platforms, currently Stripe for credit cards, and Paypal. Your card details are processed securely on their system. We do not have access to, or store your card details.

 

In the unlikely event of a data breach we would a) write to you to inform that your data has been compromised and b) inform the UK Government’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

It’s your data!

 

The details we hold are an email address for our newsletter subscribers and blog participants, and address details of customers who book online. We have compiled this data from contact forms, subscribers to our newsletter and blog, and online bookings customers.

 

We will only use your data for the purposes of informing you about our services and offers, or for fulfilling your online bookings. We will not sell, redistribute or disclose your data except if required by law enforcement agencies. In the case where our business assets are acquired by a third party, they may choose to review this policy, in which case we would expect them to inform you.

 

You can ask us to amend your contact details or to erase your details from our system at any time by contacting us through the web site or sending an email to info@clothcuts.co.uk. Our marketing emails will have a clear option to unsubscribe, and to continue receiving our marketing communications you will have to opt in by clicking on the subscribe link.

 

If you prefer not to receive marketing emails you can unsubscribe through the link contained on the email you have received from ClothCuts.
