Have you inherited a sewing machine or recently bought a new one and need help getting started? Or maybe you are thinking of buying a machine and simply want to find out if sewing is your bag! Then, this beginner’s workshop is for you.

It's also ideal for those who have not sewn for some time and need a hand to get going again.

All materials are included in the price of the workshop.


  • YOU WILL LEARN:

    • How to wind and insert a bobbin

    • Thread your sewing machine

    • Understand tension, presser foot and reverse or back stitch

    • Get familiar with your sewing machines utility and decorative stitches

    • Stitch a buttonhole

    • Different seam finishing techniques


    You will go home with your sampler of utility and decorative stitches, as well as the samples of your stitched seam finishes.



  • DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN SEWING MACHINE?

    You do not need to bring your own sewing machine to attend a workshop. Machines are available during the sessions to provide an opportunity for individuals to try out the craft before committing to buying a sewing machine of their own.  If you have any queries please get in touch.
