Cloth Cuts respects customers’ need for security and privacy. To operate as an online service provider, we collect and hold lists of customers and contacts. This policy sets out our responsibilities and your rights as a consumer in respect of the data we hold. Any data we hold about you is held securely, and we respect your right to rectification or erasure of your data.
Our website operates on a secure server, provided by the hosting platform for our site. You can check that it is secure by noting the “s” in the URL in your browser and the padlock icon.
Your payment is transacted by secure platforms, currently Stripe for credit cards, and Paypal. Your card details are processed securely on their system. We do not have access to or store your card details.
In the unlikely event of a data breach, we would a) write to you to inform that your data has been compromised and b) inform the UK Government’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The details we hold are an email address for our newsletter subscribers and blog participants, and address details of customers who book online. We have compiled this data from contact forms, subscribers to our newsletter and blog, and online bookings customers.
We will only use your data for the purposes of informing you about our services and offers, or for fulfilling your online bookings. We will not sell, redistribute or disclose your data except if required by law enforcement agencies. In the case where our business assets are acquired by a third party, they may choose to review this policy, in which case we would expect them to inform you.
You can ask us to amend your contact details or to erase your details from our system at any time by contacting us through the website or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our marketing emails will have a clear option to unsubscribe and to continue receiving our marketing communications you will have to opt-in by clicking on the subscribe link.
